EGGCEPTIONAL

I always knew that my hens were extra special, but this really proved it!  On the right is a normal egg from one of my average size hens.  On the left is a giant egg from one of my averages size hens.  Really?  I wouldn't want to have birthed this one....it looks like it belongs to an ostrich!

Okay, here is a picture that should be on Sesame Street asking, "which one doesn't belong?"

Upon putting this enormous egg back into the basket, it broke and revealed its contents....two very large yolks.

Wow, I wonder how many calories would have been in that breakfast scramble?  You could have a huge meal and claim that you only had one egg for breakfast.  Ha!  I like the sound of that kind of reasoning!

Here is Mom feeding Savannah some leftover sour cream.  Yummmmm....good stuff.

Sash was not going to be left out of this clean up.  At least the take less energy than the dishwasher!  Just kidding...that spoon and bowl went immediately into the dishwasher.

I love double yoked eggs! And yours are so bright orange - you really should start selling them...

It's even weirder when the hen lays a super-big egg that isn't a double-yolk but the doubles feel like you've won a good-luck piece.
