Here Come The Chicks

My baby chicks have arrived and they are home safe in the warm brooder. They all have names that I will post with photos if I can get them to stop scampering around long enough to get some individual shots. Two are fancy breeds. I never thought I would get anything but the standards, but I fell in love with these two rascals. They are straight run, so I am taking a chance and hoping they are hens. If they are roosters they will be loved just the same. I really only want hens, however, I keep hearing how great it is to have a rooster to protect the girls. We'll see. All I know is, these chicks have a set of lungs on them that won't quit! They are LOUD little devils.
