OK...it's time for an update and a little humor. I have been done with treatment for my cancer for about six months now, and this, my friends, is all the hair I have to show for it! All throughout my bald journey, I was comforted by the thought of the beautiful locks of chemo curls I would have upon the return of my hair. Ha! I never saw one strand of those curls I so coveted. No...my hair came back in baby fine and sparse.
So why am I sharing these, not so flattering pictures of myself? To show everyone that we don't have to look like a model to be happy. I am gleeful that I am in remission and able to greet the morning with a clean bill of health. So I'm not a raving beauty.....so what. We are all princesses in our Saviours eyes. And you can't get much better than that!
Personally.....I like the messy look....LOL! Sort of "Einstein-ish" don't yah think? Blessings to you all for a wonderful weekend. We live in an imperfect world, but serve a perfect God. Find some joy in this day and tuck it in your heart to nourish you when times are hard. Life is good and God is great.
