Last night another one of my hens passed away. Raven, my black sex link died suddenly and unexpectedly. She showed no sign of illness like Maddie did. She was fine yesterday and gone by morning. So sad. I am praying that whatever she died from, it will not be transmittable to the other chickens. From the research I've done it almost sounds like it was her heart. But without a necropsy, the true cause of her demise will be forever a question. So far all other hens look fine and they are producing a lot of beautiful eggs. Have a good night all......
