For my birthday, my sister surprised me with a new camera....and a Nikon to boot! I was struggling with my old point and shoot camera, which had only 3mega pixles. This little gem is 12mega pixels and the color rocks! I can slip this camera in my purse it's so compact and slim.
I found this little case for it at Best Buy on the clearance rack. And, believe it or not, the case is made specially for the Nikon Coolpix and matches the color of the camera. Ah, I love it when things match.
I have been wanting a digital SLR for a long time now, but couldn't afford the price. Well, this hunk of gorgeous camera flesh came up on HSN and was on flex pay, which made getting it a no brainer. I now have my compact camera and my SLR. How cool is that?
I love the creative abilities that are available with an SLR, not to mention the prospect of getting more lenses to increase the creative value. The sky is the limit with this baby. I am getting light headed just thinking of all the pictures I am going to take with this, my first digital SLR. Life is good. Capture it on film.
